Visit to the partner school from Duisburg (Germany)
Dual vocational education is based on close cooperation between two partners: an enterprise and a vocational school. The education system in Germany is considered a global phenomenon. Hence, developing knowledge in this area, ZST Director Lech Boniszewski, ZST Vice-Director Bartłomiej Mikołajczyk together with the Manager of the DANWOOD S.A. Training Center Marzena Choińska and Justyna Fidrocka on behalf of Perfect Project Sp. z o. o. at the invitation of a vocational school from Duisburg, they went on a visit to learn in practice the dual education system in Germany. On-site meetings included a visit to our Partners’ school and the ThyssenKrupp Training Center. An important part of the visit to Germany was participation in the fair, where the school’s graduates presented engineering works that were created in cooperation with the school and companies. Thanks to many interesting conversations with school principals from Germany, representatives of a vocational school from the Netherlands and the Director of the ThyssenKrupp Training Center, we gained a lot of important information on how to conduct vocational education effectively and at the same time in response to the needs of employers. We gained a lot of inspiration and ideas for future joint projects and undertakings, interesting and practical knowledge and inspiration in creating future goals and activities of our institutions.
