We get to know beautiful Podlasie
The weather finally started to be nice, so we went on an educational trip to Białowieża with a group of students completing an internship as part of the Erasmus Pro activity. We visited the Bison Demonstration Reserve – a zoo established in the interwar period in 1929, which was the first step towards the restitution of the disappearing bison. Students also had the opportunity to visit Bison’s Ribs – a nature trail located in the Białowieża Forest, the first forest nature trail in Poland, marked out in the 1970s. The culmination of this special time was a delicious dinner at a local restaurant serving regional cuisine.
