Report on the exchange of practices of current trends in food logistics – the AGROPLUS project
Poland ranks third (after Italy and Spain) in the production of vegetables in the EU-27. At the same time, it carries a high import value of fruit and vegetables (mainly directions: Spain, Italy). The increasing production volume and the sustained high level of international trade increase the importance of proper organization in the circulation of fresh fruit and vegetables, both within the country and internationally. Both Poland and Lithuania have a high share in the import of fresh goods, including from Italy, while Italy is the second largest export in the EU after Spain. This is how the idea of the AGROPLUS project, implemented under the Erasmus + Program, was born.
We are pleased to present you a report containing the current trends in food logistics, which was created on the basis of the exchange of experiences and good practices between the partners of the AGROPLUS project, ie Perfect Project Sp. z o.o., Vilniaus agroekologijos mokymo centras and HumaCapiAct.
We invite you to use the knowledge gathered there and share your opinions with us.
