YES for Podlasie from the European Commission
After many months of negotiations with Brussels, the European Commission approved a Regional Operational Programme for 2014-2020 in Podlaskie. However, we must be patient, because before the first call for proposals will be announced, must still be some documents prepared, such as: a detailed description of the priorities and criteria for project selection. With European funds, our region will receive more than 5 billion, of which 85.5 million will be allocated for financing R & D projects: research or laboratory equipment, which are intended for entrepreneurs to develop new or improve existing products. They help mainly small and medium-sized enterprises, which thanks to the financial aid shall become more innovative and competitive. In the new ROP it is very important to care for low-carbon economy. The increase in energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources they alocated 180.5 million euros. One of the most important issues is that it will also support vocational education. With help of those funds the financing will be provided for those schools which bet on the quality of education and adapt its educational offer to local labor market and the needs of our entrepreneurs. For this purpose we have approx. 60 million euros. In the region of Podlasie will also be a Local Development Driven by the Community, which will be implemented with the involvement of local communities. There will be various projects (due to the problems and needs of the community), as defined in the Local Development Strategies. For this purpose there is allocated a total of 59 million euros.
